The best part of my job is the trust that people put in me, which is neck and neck with the opportunities to render treatments which make a dramatic difference in the welfare of a pet. One might surmise that the hardest part of my job is putting dogs to sleep. That is not the case, because the hardest part of my job is when I discover that I care more about a pet than the actual owner does and that happens fairly frequently.
