People don’t seem to understand the concept of car lengths. In other words if you give someone 3 to 5 car lengths in front of you in traffic, that’s just a safety buffer against someone who has to stop suddenly. I don’t know how these drivers get right up on somebody’s bumper even if they are not tailgating with only two car lengths, how do they hope to stop in time if something happens up ahead? And why, if you’re not losing ground against other traffic, do people feel like they have to fill in the five car lengths in front of you. I am moving just as fast is everyone else there is just space in front of me and it seems to be annoying to other people.
