Facebook is decidedly a toxic environment. For some reason, people will say anything that comes to mind from behind their keyboard. People lashing out, arguing, judging, and rendering opinions that they weren’t even asked for. Civility is rare. Learned discussion is rare.
I think we see people at their worst on Facebook.
It would be marvelous if there was a way to enjoy Facebook without any input other than family and immediate friends.
Suffice it to say, I cannot stand Facebook and I am glad that I do not spend any time there. departing that platform was one of the best decisions I’ve made relative to the Internet.
