When the grass is dewy first thing in the morning, you can see the path that your dog took in the morning when she went out and you can see that the edge of everything has been patrolled. Like a dotted line around all the flower beds, islands, chairs in the yard, even a bucket on its side. LOL
And you think, “Wow! He covered a LOT of ground!” and imagine the curiosity AND energy it took to cover that much ground. Also that they do way more than just toddle out and pee.
