Downton Abbey in School? I kind of think that Downton Abbey would be something good to show kids in school. Maybe not all over the world, but at least in America. It’s an interesting historical story but it also shows our roots as they are based in England. It also reveals people’s motives and basic drives, most of the time very thinly veiled. But I think without being loud about it, it is an interesting exposure to a world before electronica “noise”. Perhaps for people who are being raised in childhood homes of turmoil, it would show them, even grippingly, how people can take care of each other and how important family is, without being preachy.
