The Acorn Doesn’t Fall Far From The Tree

I think something else that people don’t think about, is that the children of welfare recipients may be un-employable for more than one reason, because they are raised under socioeconomic traditions that do not prioritize education, to parents who often have no education or ambition, leaving them little choice nor desire to do anything but stay on the dole. Raised without any degree of sophistication, they may lack the skills and the social etiquette to be viable employees in most capacities; and with the safety net of a social-support-check, will not push a shovel or clean a house. Simply: Without an ambitious-ancestor who knows the way out; how is a young person to prioritize or execute on what seems impossible, and has proven to be impossible for their own parents?
