Your grandmother (Moyer) was born in Pittsburgh as a Ripley. Daniel Ripley (her grandfather) was an inventor who designed and sold his RIPLEY lamps (several models) all over the U.S. and the world. He also originally owned the grandfather’s clock that you stand to inherit because you hold the genetic key to the Ripley side of the family. Daniel Ripley had friends like Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, etc; (quite a famous dude).
