We should hide, not risk discovery. Ask ourselves: What happens EVERY single time we have EVER found other civilizations, or environments with resources? We occupy, assimilate and use. If we reveal ourselves to smarter beings, we are DONE. And if we discover a people or resource defenseless to us, they are doomed to extinction. What are they thinking?
